Traverse City, MI
Lisa has worked as a court reporter for Network Reporting for seven years. Her favorite part of the job is the flexibility it allows in her schedule. This was especially helpful when her two children were in school, since they participated in both soccer and track. However, Lisa’s love of sports started long before having kids. She has been a huge sports fan since a young age, accounting to the fact that she would tag along with her father to his softball games or any other sporting event he wanted to attend. When she travels for deps beyond Traverse City, Lisa enjoys listening to sports talk radio. At home, she watches any and all sports, but her favorites are the Tigers and the Wolverines. Of course, one of Lisa’s preferred activities is traveling to Ann Arbor to watch U of M football or to Detroit to watch the Tigers.
Planning a trip to Traverse City? Below are a couple of Lisa’s recommendations:
Favorite restaurants: There are so many great options in this foodie city! Here’s a few to get you started: Poppycock’s, Red Mesa, The Filling Station, and Knot Just a Bar in Omena.
Favorite place to visit: The Secret Garden, part of the Brys Estate Vineyard. They grow their own lavender, which is a beautiful sight, and use it to make soap, lotion, and other things that are lavender infused.
