Rolling into our 181st year of statehood, we Michiganders have found innumerous ways to celebrate and utilize our geography and resources to their fullest.  From Ironwood to Monroe, enjoy our monthly compilation of weekend events happening all over this great state!


  • Marquette – Angry Bear Festival – April 14

Climb out of hibernation by enjoying local beer, food, and music at this event that takes over Spring Street.

  • St. Ignace – Jeep the Mac – April 20 through 21

Jeep enthusiasts unite for this annual parade across the Mackinac Bridge.


  • Lansing – Lansing Lugnuts Opening Day Celebration – April 7

Start the Lugnuts’ 2018 season off right with live music, games, food and drink, and the opportunity to meet members of the team.  Fireworks after the game!

  • Kalamazoo – Earth Day – April 22

Celebrate our world and enjoy free admission at the WK Kellogg Bird Sanctuary where an assortment of waterfowl, game birds, song birds, and birds of prey call home.


  • Chelsea – Chelsea Spring Expo – April 14

Over 140 vendors, non-profits, and crafters will be on site offering family­-friendly goods and services.

  • Colon – 31 Flavors of Magic – April 14

A six-hour event displaying almost every form of magic where the village’s restaurants, magic shops, bars, and other stores all participate.
